Tender Description

The Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC), under the Ministry of Industries, invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the package titled Supply of Urea and DAP Fertiliser for Boro Season (50,000 MT).

The procuring entity intends to apply funds from Government of Bangladesh (GoB) / World Bank towards payments under the contract. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedure as specified in the Public Procurement Rules, 2008 (PPR 2008) and is open to all eligible bidders.

Interested bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the office of the BCIC Procurement Cell during office hours (09:00–17:00, Sunday to Thursday). A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ৳8,000.

Eligibility & Requirements

  • Registered agro-input dealer/food supplier with BSTI certification
  • Valid trade license & TIN/BIN certificate
  • Minimum 3 similar contracts completed in last 5 years
  • Average annual turnover ≥ ৳18.75 Cr
  • Bid security (EMD) of ৳25.0 Lakh in pay-order/bank guarantee form
  • No on-going litigation with Government of Bangladesh
