Procurement of Textbooks for Primary Education (2027 Academic Year)
Tender Description
The National Curriculum & Textbook Board (NCTB), under the Ministry of Primary & Mass Education, invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the package titled “Procurement of Textbooks for Primary Education (2027 Academic Year)”.
The procuring entity intends to apply funds from Government of Bangladesh (GoB) / ADB towards payments under the contract. Bidding will be conducted through the Invitation for Tender (IFT) — Open Competitive Bidding procedure as specified in the Public Procurement Rules, 2008 (PPR 2008) and is open to all eligible bidders.
Interested bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the office of the NCTB Procurement Cell during office hours (09:00–17:00, Sunday to Thursday). A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ৳4,500.

Eligibility & Requirements
- Registered printing press/educational supplier with trade licence
- Valid trade license & TIN/BIN certificate
- Minimum 3 similar contracts completed in last 5 years
- Average annual turnover ≥ ৳8.10 Cr
- Bid security (EMD) of ৳10.8 Lakh in pay-order/bank guarantee form
- No on-going litigation with Government of Bangladesh
